Also, if some does freeze, the increased volume of the ice (water is weird that way) might increase the pressure enough to slide the cork out some, and degrade the the precise initial freezing point of wine will depend mainly on the alcohol concentration but also on the amount of sugar and other solutes.
And even if it did, if you leave the wine in the freezer, the bottle of the wine will explode, at least the cork will pop out and will leave a huge mess in there. If it's a full, unopened bottle of wine, that means the freezing wine is. I froze this bottle of wine when i just left it to chill then i completely forgot about it:/ will this ruin it?! As the tartrates are acidic, freezing the wine will lower the acidity.
